Gulab Jamuns (Coconut Coated)

These are Gulab Jamuns with a twist. For those of you who are not fans of having Gulab Jamuns served with the sugar syrup, this is the recipe for you. Follow mom's recipe for Gulab Jamuns and then follow the steps below.

Ingredients:

Grated Coconut:

100g shredded coconut
Food colouring

Method:

To coat with grated coconut, take the coconut in a bowl and add 2-3 drops of food colouring. Mix it well. 

Gently squeeze the soaked Jamuns to rid them of any extra syrup and then roll them in the coconut.

Tip: Be sure not to make the grated coconut too wet with food colouring, or it will not stick properly to the Jamun balls.
