Bread Pizza

Needless to say, this is not a 'rocket science' level snack, but it does meet the need when the kids are hungry. This is one of my go-tos when the boys fancy a pizza, and I want to quickly put something together at home. Feel free to be brave about trying out different toppings of your choice.

Ingredients:

Bread
Butter
Tomato Ketchup
Cheese (grated)
Carrots (grated)
Onions (finely diced)
Green Peppers (finely diced)
Sweet Corn
Black Olives (sliced)
Chicken Frankfurters (sliced)

Method:

Lay out the bread slices on a baking tray.

Thinly spread some butter on the bread. Generously top this with tomato ketchup.

Add the carrots, onions, green peppers and sweet corn.

Top it off with the grated cheese, followed by the olives and the chicken frankfurters.

Spoon a little butter on top.

Pop into the oven and bake at 375 degrees F or gas mark 5 for 10-15 minutes, or till the cheese has melted.

Tip: I sometimes like to sauté the sliced chicken frankfurters in some butter before I add them to the toppings.
