Peanut Butter Cookies

So I had an extra large jar of peanut butter so thought of trying some recipes using peanut butter. Found this online and I must say, it did turn out quite good! If you’re looking for a change from the regular cookie flavours this one is a must-try!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter (I used crunchy peanut butter)
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Method:

Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Keep aside.

Cream the butter, add the peanut butter and sugars, and beat till well combined.

Beat in the egg.

Add the flour mixture and mix to form a dough.

Refrigerate for about 1 hour.

Roll the dough out into balls and flatten, or run the dough through a cookie press to make the cookies.

Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit or gas mark 5 for about 10 minutes, till the cookies begin to brown.
